The Chosen Soul

The Chosen Soul is a book project by Shaurya Bahl. Its subtitle is "A journey into the unseen, the unspoken, and the undeniably real."

What It Is

The Chosen Soul is not a religious text or a scientific thesis. It is an exploration of the parts of human existence that society has quietly agreed to leave in the dark — the subconscious mind, life after death, spirituality, and the soul's purpose. The book is written with a premise that challenges the reader: "What if you chose this life?"

The central idea is that people are not accidents but chosen souls on deliberate journeys — that the challenges, loves, losses, and longings of life were selected not to punish but to shape.

What It Covers

The book is structured around four interconnected themes:

  • The subconscious mind — how it shapes beliefs, patterns, and fears, and how understanding it turns it from a silent saboteur into an ally
  • Life after death — near-death experiences, ancient wisdom, energy science, and testimonies from those who have stood at the threshold and returned
  • Spirituality — not as temples and rituals, but as the lived awareness that a person is more than their name, body, or biography
  • The soul's deeper purpose — the idea that every life is chosen, not random, and that everything experienced serves a deliberate function

Why It Matters

The Chosen Soul reveals a side of Shaurya that exists far from the building and shipping. At 15, most people are not writing books about consciousness and the afterlife. The project shows a deeply reflective and philosophical mind running alongside the entrepreneurial one — someone who thinks about the meaning of existence with the same intensity he brings to product development.

The book's opening line sets the tone: "There are conversations the world has long chosen to avoid, questions buried under the weight of routine, dismissed with nervous laughter, or shelved behind the comfort of certainty."

It closes its introduction with: "This is not a book you read with your eyes alone. Read it with your memory — the deep one, the one that existed before you were born."
